For the Left, playing America’s National Anthem has become the equivalent of playing “Horst-Wessel-Lied”, Nazi Germany’s Nazi Party anthem. Much like the removal of our nation’s anthem from sporting events, the tearing down of historical statues across the nation by the violent Marxist Black Lives Matter/Antifa mobs has been shocking to watch. Like the looting of businesses by Black Lives Matter and the violence against law enforcement and ICE agents that have been ignored by Democrat lawmakers, these anti-American actions not totally unexpected, given the hatred for America our children are being taught by radical middle school and high school teachers, and then confirmed by their college professors. It’s apparently okay to rip our nation apart, because according to the Left, America was never a great nation in the first place.
While their allies in the Democrat Party have been locking down Americans in the most anti-American way possible over a virus from a communist country with a less than 1% fatality rate, billionaires like George Soros, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg are doing their part to ensure anti-American propaganda is front and center in the minds of all Americans.
Now, Mark Cuban, another anti-Trump billionaire, and owner of the Dallas Mavericks basketball team is doing his part to promote an anti-American sentiment in professional sports. On Monday, Cuban unashamedly admitted that it was his decision to do away with the National Anthem before home games, adding that he has no plans to reintroduce our nation’s anthem in the future.
The Athletic -The Dallas Mavericks have ceased playing the national anthem before home games this season and do not plan to play it moving forward, a decision made by owner Mark Cuban that he confirmed to The Athletic on Monday evening.
None of 13 preseason and regular-season games played at the American Airlines Center this season have featured the anthem before the game, including Monday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the first played this season with a limited amount of fans in attendance.
The Mavericks did not publicize the anthem’s removal, and The Athletic was the first media organization to reach out about the change after noticing its absence on Monday. Multiple team employees described only noticing the anthem’s removal on their own, as it was also not announced or explained internally.
Cuban declined a request for further comment or explanation Monday evening. The Mavericks organization also declined comment Tuesday.
We’re wondering how the fans in Dallas feel about Cuban’s decision…
