We recently reported on multiple polls which suggest that at least 46% of Republican voters would leave the backstabbing GOP to vote for a new Trump party in a future election. In fact, we showed that up to 64% of the party would follow Mr. Trump to another party.
Now, Axios is reporting that Trump may make an announcement regarding this possibility at the CPAC convention, next weekend:
“In his first post-presidential appearance, Donald Trump plans to send the message next weekend that he is Republicans’ “presumptive 2024 nominee” with a vise grip on the party’s base, top Trump allies tell Axios.

A longtime adviser called Trump’s speech a “show of force,” and said the message will be: “I may not have Twitter or the Oval Office, but I’m still in charge.” Payback is his chief obsession.
“Trump effectively is the Republican Party,” Trump senior adviser Jason Miller told Axios. “The only chasm is between Beltway insiders and grassroots Republicans around the country. When you attack President Trump, you’re attacking the Republican grassroots.””
In addition to all of this, the previous polls also suggest a considerable amount of independent and democrat voters would vote for Trump in a future election.
“The survey found 28 percent of independents and 15 percent of Democrats said they’d likely join a third party led by Trump.
Thirty-seven percent of voters overall said if Trump started a new political party they’d likely join.”
